The Armenian Relief Society would like to extend its deepest appreciation for your continued support. As you know, for almost 100 years, the Armenian Relief Society, the oldest of Armenian women's organizations, has led the way in helping the Armenian people. Throughout the years we have worked to provide the necessary humanitarian assistance to our people to help built strong and vibrant communities.

Today, we continue our mission on behalf of the Armenian Nation by funding critical programs here in the Eastern United States and in Armenia, Artsakh, and Javakhk. In Armenia, we sponsor hundreds of orphans and underwrite the cost of providing nutritious meals daily at needy schools. In Artsakh, we maintain day care centers which are part of the ARS Inc.’s Sosseh Kindergarten network. In Javakhk, we continue donating to the youth center through the efforts of the Armenian Youth Federation-YOARF.

Here at home, we annually donate thousands of dollars in undergraduate and graduate scholarships. We will fund Armenian Studies at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Also we will fund for Youth Educational Program June of 2008, for High School Seniors and College students, a week long program
of several lectures covering issues ranging from politics to culture and society. With the Armenian Eastern Prelacy, we co-sponsor the Armenian National Education Committee which oversees Eastern USA Armenian one-day schools and helps those schools develop curricula and achieve educational goals.

We help funding for AYF Camp Haiastan with its Hye Time Armenian program and donate camperships to deserving youngsters so that they may attend Camp Haiastan. Also helped AYF youth for their internship program in Armenia. We always respond to immediate needs of our community with financial support in times of emergency as we did this year with Lebanese Relief Fund.
